I am friendly and empathetic, I assess all new students and create a plan to match their learning style as this is a bespoke service not the one size fits all used by schools. I work in a relaxed way, there are many routes to success and encouragement and enjoyment should be a major part of the tuition. My first concern is that a student, whatever their age, feels comfortable with me.so after the first meeting I ask students to give feedback to the parent and be a major part of the decision. We need to work together to gain knowledge and understanding, rote- learning is unsuccessful. I expect parents to be involved in the process and encourage their involvement.
