How would you describe your teaching style?
A friendly, patient, mentor-like approach is taken to all my tutoring. I focus on using lesson time for enabling understanding of the topic content, using structured lesson plans on an online platform. Tutees report that lessons are fun and engaging, rather that regurgitating content which the schooling system is sometimes guilty of. My tutoring is available online for those at a distance if preferred, and the latest technology is utilised to ensure the lesson is comparable to being in person. I am available on evenings and weekends, and during the day when there are school holidays. My tutoring takes a holistic view of what the student is trying to achieve, considering on skills and knowledge they require to excel beyond just their exams, but also looking further at the career and university choices they are considering also. Recent Tutee Feedback: Vissagan - Made me feel very secured in the sense that he was ready to give me a plan of action to overcome the tasks I have for the 2nd year of medicine. Looking forward to more classes. (5/5 stars) Meabh - Although Sayinthen has a deep knowledge of the three main sciences and maths, it is primarily chemistry and biology that he has been teaching our son. He is clearly very able and has a calm reassuring manner that makes him an excellent teacher. His experience of medicine ,as a doctor, is also very helpful when discussing some practical applications of the work. We would highly highly recommend Sayinthen as a tutor. (5/5 stars) Steve - Sayinthen taught my son Nat5 Chemistry. He has an excellent, professional manner and approach to his role and was able to generate enthusiasm and confidence in my son which school were not able to provide. He has an excellent knowledge of the subject and was able to convey that to my son in a simple easy to understand manner. Despite having failed his pre-lims and the school unable to provide a Chemistry teacher for their class lessons leading upto the actual exam, our son passed his Nat5 after some very intensive tutoring from Sayinthen. Thank you very much for the hard work that went into achieving this goal - not an easy task in such a short time line. (5/5 stars) Heather - From our initial meeting Sayinthen has ensured that my son has felt relaxed in his company and confident in asking for the support he requires. I am absolutely delighted with the level of professionalism shown and the ability Sayinthen has in relating to my son ensuring an increase in his self confidence and a keen desire to improve his knowledge of Chemistry. (5/5 stars) Narcisa - Sayinthen is an excellent tutor! He communicates very well with my son, Ben and he is very determined to get the best results out of Ben.
