An English / Literature / Media Studies teacher with 18 years' experience, I am equally able to help students progress from GCSE Grade 3 to Grade 6 as I am to help students pushing to Grade 8 or 9 for their final exams. I am happy to come to the homes of students, or teach in mutually aged locations (libraries, coffee shops, etc.) as preferred to provide tuition sessions between one and three hours long. I currently teach 80% of a full timetable as Coordinator for KS4 at a 11-18 school in Bournemouth, but can work with students in evening, or holiday periods. Having worked as a Head of English and Head of Media Studies, and also having examined both GCSE and A Level in both subjects, I have an up to date familiarity with AQA and EDUQAS (WJEC) exam boards and References are available upon request. For the highest rate, I can teach small groups of 2-3 students if required.
