• Private Tutoring by a Top Class Economist • Economics tutoring at: GCSE, AS and A Level; some undergraduate level; and to mature students interested in economics. • Senior economics professional with over 20 years’ practical experience in investment banks, investment management companies, hedge funds and industry. • Managed money for Warren Buffet. • Most other teachers only know economics in theory but not in practice. • Experienced in teaching Economics to different age groups. • Very friendly, patient, structured and flexible teaching approach. • Home visits or online tutoring in the UK and overseas. • Access to a top class economist at very reasonable rates. • First session is free, to get to know the student. • I am a very friendly and patient teacher with a properly structured and flexible teaching approach. • Lessons for each subject tend follow a two-pronged approach: lessons that cover theoretical material are alternated with lesson going over exam practice questions that have been set as homework. • I can either come to your home or teach via video-conferencing, which means I can teach students from all over the UK and overseas. • My approach is to gently nudge the students towards that eureka moment through skilled teaching, relevant real-world examples and appropriate questions.

How would you describe your teaching style?

My lessons are always engaging and involve putting economic theory in the context of real-world example based on the interests of the student. My approach is to gently nudge the students towards that eureka moment through skilled teaching, relevant real-world examples and appropriate questions. I am a very friendly and patient teacher with a properly structured and flexible teaching approach. The first lesson is free and is more to do with understanding the student in terms of their abilities, personality, requirements and interests. The latter is very important as it means that I can use real world examples that are relevant to their interests thereby encouraging better understanding and learning. Lessons for each subject tend follow a two-pronged approach: the first lesson covers the theoretical material with a summary at the end, followed by questions to make sure that the student has properly understood the subject; the second lesson involves going over exam practice questions in detail that have been set as homework. I can either teach the whole syllabus or elements of the syllabus according to the requirements of the student. I can either come to your home or teach via video-conferencing, which means I can teach students from all over the UK and overseas.
