My name is Mireia Ludevid and I am an MA Graduate and language enthusiast. I am a Spanish native speaker with 2+ years of experience tutoring children from the ages of 8 to 15. I tutor Spanish and Photography. I believe learning languages is a transformative experience and can help build confidence that can be applied to other subjects and areas of life. Languages help us engage with the world in a profound manner and can help students reach their academic and social goals. In my lessons, I make sure to reinforce positive behavior, teach phonics and reading as well as reinforce lessons presented by teachers by reviewing the material. I graduated with distinction from an MA in Fashion Photography and will start a Ph.D. in Research related to Visual Arts and Linguistics in September. Before that, I studied Art History in Barcelona. In photography lessons, I focus on mastering technique as well as developing a personal style. I teach skills related to film photography, lighting, postproduction and visual research. My studies have allowed me to engage in different styles of learning, which I apply to suit the needs of every student. I am passionate about education and visual arts, especially in languages - I understand that every student's needs are different and can adapt the classes to them.
