Currently in my third year of my Masters in Mathematics degree, I intend to pursue mathematics at a doctorate level. I personally studied Maths, Further Maths, AQA and STEP during A-Levels and so, with adequate information on the required topic area and time to prepare, I can teach GCSE or A-Level mathematics (or further mathematics).

How would you describe your teaching style?

After understanding what topics the student needs help in, I will set questions, the pupil will complete the questions and I will review the answers. If the student has struggled with any of them we will go through them together and I shall answer any related questions. I will rigourously ensure the student understands the topic by continuing in this manner and then upon moving on to a new topic, this process with continue.

What qualifications do you have?

GCSE's, A-Levels in mathematics and further mathematics, AQA, STEP and 2 years of a mathematics degree, focusing on primarily pure modules.

Tell us about your experience...

I have assisted teaching in a GCSE mathematics class for half a year. Personally tutored GCSE students whilst studying for my A-Levels. I have also mentored first year university students whilst in my second year as part of a university program I am co-director of. Finally, I have tutored my younger brother along with friends of family's children.

What locations do you tutor in?

Online only.

What is your personal message to students?

Whilst I will follow the required curriculum for topics that require a specific method, I can usually offer alternative methods for topics in which the method does not matter. Please ensure however, that the material you wish to go over is supplied to me in advance as I will need time to prepare for questions.
