I am in my second year at Lancaster University studying Psychology with a minor in Philosophy. Currently on track for a first classification. I wish to teach after my studies, therefore tutoring is something I am extremely passionate about. This allows me to engage with students on a deeper level, through a one-to-one environment.

Tell us about your experience...
I have extensive experience in tutoring. Before attending university, I worked as an English tutor in various schools, where I would teach up to ten children at a time. This involved planning and delivering lessons independently. Through this role, I also worked with children with behavioural difficulties and learning disabilities. Therefore, I have a flexible and adaptable teaching style. Additionally, I have had the pleasure of teaching A Level Psychology classes, whilst at university. I have also tutored individuals in Psychology at a university level. I currently write a Psychology blog, which has been advocated by professionals at Lancaster University and the University of East London. Within my blog, I post content explaining real world issues in terms of how Psychology can explain them. In order to cater for the different learning styles, I post these in article form, as well as a video with voice over and subtitles. I acknowledge that many students learn in different ways, therefore I adapt my tutoring accordingly.
