Tutoring experience - Head of Social Sciences in an Outstanding boys Comprehensive School in Ewell. - Before becoming Head of Faculty I was Head of Department for Sociology for 5 years. - I have been teaching for 10 years across both sixth form colleges and school sixth form. - I have been an examiner for AQA Sociology since the new linear specifications have been introduced (2015 with first exams sat in 2016) - Under my leadership our Sociology department results have flourished and a number of my students have achieved A* grades. Some of whom have scored top marks in extended answer questions. - Teaching in my department is of an exceptionally high standard and we are very popular with students, having one of the largest cohorts in the sixth form.
