I graduated from the University of Aberdeen and have a Master’s degree in Finance and Economics (Master of Money and Finance) from the University of Frankfurt am Main in 2013. Since then, I have been teaching Economics, Mathematics and Physics for different levels up to A-Level/IB and Economics and Finance at University level, too. The material can be taught in English, Russian and partly in German. I started giving in-person lessons in 2007 and online private lessons in 2009, while in the university. I used to teach my friends overseas who could not understand the subject properly. I continued after graduation. As of 2021, I have over 12 years of online teaching experience both individually and in mini groups. My students mostly come from many European countries (UK, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Cyprus, Ukraine and Russia), 97% of them have successfully achieved their goals of passing the exams such as GCSE, IB, A-Level, German Abitur and University level, and 100% have significantly improved their knowledge

How would you describe your teaching style?

My private lessons differ from those of many other tutors because I am always open to questions whenever they arise, and make students not just learn the subject but truly understand it by providing many real life examples. Always ask how and why! This is my slogan and key for success. My lessons are interactive and students really take part in them, not just listen. I tend to give a considerable amount of homework and always discuss the results, so that pupils get a lot of independent practice as well. The material can be taught in English, Russian and partly in German. Special note to Physics students. Since Electronics is my hobby as well, I have a small lab, so during the lessons we can have some experiments and practicals. In addition 3D Printing courses are available upon request.

What qualifications do you have?

My Highest Qualification is Masters Degree. Master of Science (Money and Finance) University of Frankfurt-am-Main Germany. This is followed by Bachelor of Laws with options in accounting University of Aberdeen Steven College Edinburgh SQA (Business, Maths, Accounting, Economics AAAAA results)

Tell us about your experience...

I started giving private lessons in 2007, while in high school. I used to teach my classmates and friends who could not understand the subject properly. I continued in the university. After graduation I realised that teaching is the type of activity that I want to consider as my full-time job. By 2019, I now have 12 years of personal teaching experience (and 10 years online teaching since 2009) both individually and in mini groups. My students come from 5 European countries (UK, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland and Russia), 97% of them successfully achieved their goals of passing the exams such as GCSE, IB, A-Level, German Abitur and University, and 100% have significantly improved their knowledge.

What locations do you tutor in?

I specialise in online teaching. I do it globally irrespective of the location of my clients.

What is your personal message to students?

There is always a way to succeed. Even if the subject seems to be challenging for you, you are capable of doing it well, if you allocate time on it, give some effort, and get some good guidance. The guidance I will provide. Both in school and with the tutor, do not be shy. Ask questions immediately, and do not let the teacher go too much forward if you feel like you are not catching something, so that the understanding will come. During my lessons, I am always open to questions and can sense if you may be too shy to ask them. No one will leave the virtual classroom without improvement in not just his knowledge but understanding as well.
