I am currently studying for a Masters degree in Ancient History at King’s College, London. I graduated from Balliol College, Oxford, in 2020 with a 2:1 BA in Classics, a subject which combines languages, literature and history. I would love to be able to help pupils who are studying Latin, Greek or Classical Civilisation at any level, as well as History or English up to GCSE. In my spare time I write fiction, and my first short story has recently been published. Next year, I hope to become a schoolteacher in the state sector.
How would you describe your teaching style?
What qualifications do you have?
I have a BA in Classics (2:1) from Balliol College, Oxford. I studied a wide range of papers for my degree, such as the Latin and Greek languages (prose composition and unseen translation), literature (including, but not limited to, Virgil, Homer, Greek tragedy and Lyric poetry) and history (mainly archaic and classical Greece, late republican and early imperial Rome, and the works of historians such as Herodotus, Thucydides, Tacitus and Suetonius). I also have Latin, Greek, History and Art to A Level.
