Having achieved A*A*AA in my A-Levels (including 98% in Mathematics, and the top 1% in the country for Economics) and subsequently graduated with a First Class in BSc Mathematics and Economics from the London School of Economics, I understand exactly what it takes to achieve the very top marks in exams. I have been tutoring online for 4 years now, and this has allowed me to understand the difficulties that students often face in being successful at exams. What most teachers and even tutors fail to recognise is that the probability of excelling in exams is greatly increased with very specific training and systematic approaches, approaches that most people lack the discipline and know-how to execute. I have time and time again been successful at imparting these approaches and strong subject knowledge to my students, who go on to achieve the very highest marks in their exams (92% A*-A rate across GCSE and A-Level) Free first lesson, DBS Enhanced Checked!

How would you describe your teaching style?

It really does depend on the student in question - I tend to tailor my style to match a given student's strengths and preferences. However, the overarching principle with every student remains the same: firstly impart a strong understanding of the material to the student (often through examples) and then go through exam questions on the topic, explaining how exactly to go about obtaining full marks

What qualifications do you have?

I achieved A*A*AA at A-Level, and then obtained First Class degree in Mathematics and Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE)

Tell us about your experience...

I have extensive experience tutoring online (over 500 hours), to students of all abilities and levels. I tutor via an online whiteboard on Zoom, so students are able to view my writing exactly as they would on paper

What locations do you tutor in?

Online mainly at the moment due to COVID-19, so my students are from all over the country - distance is no barrier due to the joys of technology!

What is your personal message to students?

Having finished my A-Levels just three years ago and graduated this summer, I am still very young! This means that I haven't forgotten the struggles that students often face in achieving the very best grades. If you are willing to work hard and follow my guidance, I have no doubt that you can achieve the grade that you are after
