I'm a friendly, approachable, recently retired lecturer. After retiring,I found I missed education and three months later started working in an FE college for the Student Support Team. I have a Bsc degree in Social Science from the Open University and a Post Graduate Teaching Certificate, so I understand well how much of a challenge balancing studying with a busy life can be. My specialist areas are Applied Psychology and Sociology and I have completed a Professional Development Award in Facilitating Mindfulness With Young People and a Teaching Certificate in 'Mindfulness for Life.' I am happy to share this valuable skill with my tutees together with tutoring the required subject
