I have many years of experience teaching saxophone in a number of different settings including primary, secondary and private schools, regional music services, Saturday morning music centres, privately, junior Music Colleges and giving masterclasses at some of the countries’ leading conservatoires. I graduated from the Guildhall School of Music in 1994. I’m currently the chair holder on The Book of Mormon musical in London’s West End and I play regularly with the London Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia, BBC Concert Orchestra, London Sinfonietta, Britten Sinfonia and the Michael Nyman Band to name a few. I can teach at my home (if you’re travelling from afar I’m happy to pick up from the local station) or alternatively I can give lessons online. I can teach any standard, in a range of different styles, on any instrument in the saxophone family and also help out with doubling and trebling on clarinets and flutes. Whether it’s a bit of help sorting out technique with any aspect of playing for a short period of time or you’re looking for something more permanent, all will be provided in a welcoming, friendly and relaxed environment. Rates: £50 per hour
