I have been a teacher for over 17 years. I have taught in private schools, public schools, Grammar schools, International schools and am currently teaching in a local Secondary Academy. My main teaching subjects have been Mathematics, Science ,ICT and Computing. I have been tutoring youngsters for the 11+ entrance exam since 2005 when my own children successfully secured places at a Grammar school.

How would you describe your teaching style?

For exam preparation, I do loads of past paper practice. For Mathematics I focus on topic based revision still using past papers. Closer to the exam I do Mock papers to simulate the exam scenario. For all subjects I do assign some homework to consolidate knowledge aquired in a lesson. I mark the work in subsequent lesson and feedback to the student to highlight both achievement and areas for improvement.

What qualifications do you have?

I have a B.Sc degree in Natural Science with Computing as a Major. I also have QTS qualifications (Qualified Tutor Status).
