A new Manchester-based charity has secured funding for a three-year pilot scheme, offering classroom tuition to GCSE level students. The Tutor Trust is a not-for-profit social enterprise who aim to provide affordable tuition to students in schools. The idea was made possible after the trust won £180,000 from a natioal charity, the Educational Endowment Fund (EEF). The charity are already in talks with several schools in the city
