Hello! I'm a graduate of Oxford University (in Philosophy, Politics and Economics) and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (in Vocal Performance). I've individually tutored in Oxford and Aberdeen, and taught in an arts academy in South Africa. I have been a primary teacher for 6 years. The majority of my teaching experience has been in Year 3 and Year 4 but I have taught briefly in all other year groups, and also in a special school. I also worked as a teaching assistant for two years prior to qualifying. In this role I mainly supported pupils with additional learning needs and ran intervention groups for extra maths and literacy support. I have tutored primary children from Years 3 to 6 and helped to prepare for the national tests and the transition to secondary school. I enjoy tutoring as it gives me the opportunity to work closely with pupils who benefit from having a little extra support to raise confidence and engagement with school and learning.

Hi I am a qualified English language teacher and have over 4 years experience in teaching English to learners. I teach a range of levels from Beginners to Advanced. I have worked with students to prepare them for CAE,PET,FCE and IELTS exams. I also teach Maths, English and Science from Primary to GCSE level. Hey! My name's Eve and I am an English/Literature teacher based in Cardiff. I have been teaching for 7 years and I'm responsible for teaching and learning within the English department at my current school. I work in Bridgend so I am available most evenings after school for tutoring in the Vale of Glamorgan, Cardiff and Bridgend. I have marked exams for WJEC Literature with specific focus on Of Mice and Men, Jeckyll and Hyde, A Christmas Carol, Romeo and Juliet, Poetry (coursework and comparison) and Blood Brothers. I have taught English for 10 years, and hold a Master's degree in English Language Teaching from the University of Reading. I am a registered examiner for the IELTS test, and most of my career has been in higher education, so I am well placed to assist anyone in need of tutoring in English for academic purposes. My first degree was in English Language and Literature at the University of Birmingham so I would also be happy to assist anyone with their GCSE or A Level English course.
