Russian is my mother tongue. During my studies at Master's , I started learning Polish to develop my professional career in Poland. The course of pedagogical training improved my qualification as a group teacher. Since 2016, I have been living in Poland and regularly teach Russian and Polish. My passion for languages and willingness to share knowledges makes my classes interesting, understandable and memorable. The state certificate in Polish level C1 and the diplomas of the seminars for teachers of Polish as a foreign language confirm my competence in both Polish and Russian languages.

Hello, my name is Polina and I am 19 years old. I am currently a first-year undergraduate student learning economics at the University of Warwick. Before going to university I have graduated from the British International School in Moscow 3 with an IB Diploma attaining 43/45 points. Throughout my school years, I have always managed to balance my studies – including attending two schools simultaneously – with extracurricular commitments. I was the head of the student council for three years and am currently a deputy chair of the Student-Staff Liaison Committee- the positions that have enabled me to develop my leadership, collaborative and organizational skills. Having now graduated from school and completed my first year of university, I am an inquisitive learner and really want to share my knowledge with other students, helping people with any academic queries and preparing students for exams, including IB, IGCSE and many more. My teaching approach is very flexible, as I cater to the student's needs and let the student decide which learning method is more suitable for them. I centre my teaching around the tutee's easier comprehension and understanding of the material.

I have been teaching for around 20 years but completed my UK qualification in 2016 (a PGCE (MFL French and Spanish) with Liverpool John Moore University though I had previously achieved QTLS as an EAL teacher in 2012. I then spent a few months teaching part time via an agency at Albany Science College in Chorley before moving to Normandy for six months to gain practical experience of life in France. I came to the Isle of Man in 2018 and started teaching at King William’s College (KWC) in September of that year. It was at KWC that I completed my NQT year. I hold both QTS and QTLS. I have around 20 years’ experience in teaching Russian, French and English (EAL/ESOL) - both in my native Georgia and in the UK. I first qualified as a languages teacher in my home country Tskhinval, South Ossetia in 1998 (this qualification has been verified by NARIC as equivalent to UK degree standard). I am able to offer outstanding lessons in French, Spanish, Russian and English (EAL).

A have recently finished a bachelors degree from Oxford in Russian and Philosophy and can tutor either of these subjects. Furthermore, I have the FIDE Master title at chess, so am willing to tutor chess to anyone who wishes to improve. Lastly, if you need any help on personal statements, Oxbridge applications, or just want to develop intellectually I can help with any of these things. I offer in-person tutoring until the end of September for those living in London, and from September online tutoring. I have experience tutoring chess before and also have working with children and young adults through my role as youth officer in an Oxford-based student-led charity.

Dear prospective student, or parent(s), if you are looking for a serious, reliable and competent tutor of French or Russian, then I must humbly say, search no more. I am a native French and Russian speaker, being born in St Petersburg (Russia) and having lived in France (Marseilles and Paris) from early childhood. I have a bachelor degree in Law from the University of Aix-en-Provence, as well as a Master degree in Law (Insurance law to be precise). Currently studying towards a PhD in law and awaiting to start studying law in the UK in 2021, I have some spare time that I would like to utilize and help a prospective student to either learn French or Russian (or both!) from either scratch or get better or perhaps practice your already good level to get to fluency. Whether it is learning for school, or work or out of personal interest, learning a new language is a very interesting process in itself and once you have achieved the necessary level, it really does open the world even more than travelling. Also, being able to read your favorite Maupassant or Dostoevsky in the original version, that does make a difference, just like reading Jane Austen would not be the same if it is not in English. Do not fear of learning new languages. Like anything you have to learn, it comes with time and effort, but it will come, have no doubt. Whatever your age, any money and time spent learning will never be in vain. Good luck to everyone!

I am a second year student at the University of Edinburgh from Birmingham, studying Russian and Chinese. I have 1.5 years' experience in online tutoring so truly understand the ways it differs from in person tutoring. With a background in English, History and Russian, I am happy to tutor in Russian and English at all levels up to A Level. I can help my students improve in Russian by delving into grammar and by encouraging them to converse in Russian to get used to the grammar we have just learnt and allow the muscle memory to kick in. I can help students in English by looking at the best way to put your points across in an essay and by looking at close analysis of texts, which in turn would help our work in creative writing. I am also an aspiring actor, with over 16 years' experience in it, so would love to tutor in acting as well.

I am a Modern Foreign Languages teacher in Hertfordshire with 2 years' experience in a secondary school and 1 year of experience tutoring adults and children. I am offering Spanish and French lessons for £30 an hour and Russian lessons for £15 - I would love to teach more Russian. My lessons are topic and grammar based and I follow either an adult's coursebook or the KS3 or GCSE syllabus. Finally, I set weekly homework for my students to develop and monitor progress. If you are interested in learning a foreign language, then please contact me. It is a rewarding skill! Seb
