I have lectured and tutored at Exeter, Plymouth and Falmouth Universities for over 20 years in Photography, Film, Graphic Design, Fine Art, Theatre, Animation, Interior Design, Advertising, English and Illustration. I have supervised more than 500 BA dissertations. Many of my students have been dyslexic, dyspraxic or have had bad experiences in writing and reading in education. My speciality has been to help students who have found studying arduous by showing them how to use other seemingly unrelated skills to unlock their abilities with words. I have also helped many children understand Maths. I am patient and passionate about the role of tutoring in unlocking potential in education at all levels.
