I am currently teaching IT skills to senior adults at the Hestia Age Activity Centre and tutoring Urdu online. I have taught several subjects to adults and children from different ethnic and age groups. I have achieved a First-Class Honours in BSc Biomedical Science and won the Institute of Biomedical President Prize for my outstanding academic achievements (2015-2018). Through my role as a Student Representative during my undergraduate, I collaborated with the administration to ensure that all students receive a high-quality learning experience. Following this, I successfully completed MSc in Neuroscience achieving a 2:1 at King's College London in 2019, where I worked in a team delivering lecture-recordings to the students. I thoroughly enjoyed studying science and found biological processes most fascinating, especially the underlying cellular and molecular mechanisms and their significance in health and disease. Teaching offers me the opportunity to share my passion for science and skills developed throughout my studies such as strategies to understand complicated concepts in a simplified way and effective exam preparation techniques to help other students to thrive in and beyond their school exams.
