I am an experienced academic with specialisms in English, History and Social Care. I am Masters qualified. I have tutored previously and provided one to one support in a number of settings. I have worked with children and young people with disabilities and autism and am experienced and comfortable supporting learning with these difficulties. I have experience of teaching and supporting students and am PE1 and PE2 qualified. I have worked within the University setting with students playing a key role in their recruitment and assessment and learning journey. I am an excellent mentor and able to make individual assessments of a students needs and support them with their learning journey and promote their interest in the subject and their confidence. I have been working with children since I was 16. I am fully qualified teacher and due to other committments looking to branch out as a tutor with some more flexible hours. I enjoy working with all children from all backgrounds and ensuring that my tutoring caters for all individual needs. I have high expectations and look forward to tutoring children to achieve their true potential. I also enjoy working with Special Needs and/or those who have additional needs.
