Private Tutors in Richmond Upon Thames and Tutoring in Richmond Upon Thames
I am a fully qualified maths teacher with twenty years tutoring experience. I have taught and tutored maths for students in secondary schools (private, boarding and state), including Key Stage 3, GCSE and AS/A Level from year 6 up to A2 (year 13). I have encountered a wide range of feelings, experiences, common pitfalls, habits and barriers to learning maths. Sparking students’ interest and getting them absorbed in a maths question can be a great way to make them forget about any extraneous anxieties. The boost when students feel secure in using maths processes rigorously is hugely empowering.

Dear Parent, I've been a secondary school teacher in the West of London and a private tutor of both Maths and Physics for 25+ years; Having taught in excellent schools in the London Borough of Hounslow and Ealing Tutorial College I nowadays provide tuition online only. I have taught students across the full ability range, students with moderate learning difficulties as well as those aiming to achieve top grades in GCSE and at A - Level. All of my advanced students have gone on to University, some to medical school and successful Oxford or Cambridge entrance. In my early years I gained experience as an examiner and that has enabled me to guide my students more effectively in preparation for GCSE and A - Level exams. I am very familiar with the requirements of the main Exam Boards and the recent changes to their specifications in both Maths and Physics. Over the last few years I have developed strategies, including Skype and the latest advances in technology, to carry out tuition online, so that I can share my knowledge and enthusiasm with a wider range of students who would benefit from my help. Please ask me for details of how online tuition can work for you.

Hallo! My name is Leonie and I'm a German native speaker with a passion for learning and teaching languages. I just started my second year of a Sport Rehabilitation degree in Twickenham after two years of Au Pairing in London. Back in Germany in high school I first started tutoring younger students in subjects such as English, Maths and German, and noticed how I love helping people work towards their goals and achieving their full potential. During my time as an Au Pair I tried to continue tutoring and started teaching my host kids some German. As I used to learn French, Spanish and English myself I experienced different ways of learning and know what is important to be successful and to keep up the fun and motivation. I am genuinely enthusiastic about languages and my approach aims to convey both, the knowledge and passion for learning the language. From conversational, spoken German to studying for exams I am prepared to encourage and support you in a vibrant, fun and professional manner, adjusted to your needs. I would be very happy to hear from you.
