I am a widely experienced educator and parent with a strong belief that every child should have the opportunity to reach their full potential. I have a varied background and have travelled extensively before settling down to raise a family and develop my career in education. I have learnt that all children have a thirst to understand once their curiosity is roused.
I have twelve years’ experience teaching at every level from Key Stage 1 up to Key Stage 5 as well as adult learners. I have taught large classes and small group settings in mainstream and selective state schools. I also tutor English and Maths to support children with additional needs. I teach both online and face-to-face in the client's home.
My teaching approach is tailored to the individual needs of the client. I believe that good tutoring involves a partnership between tutor and learner, built on respect and understanding. I aim to make learning time interesting and fun and have been described as firm but fair. I take time getting to know the learner, identify any difficulties and gaps in learning, then teach to the national curriculum and GCSE syllabus.

I have just finished my A levels with a* in physics and a* in chemistry. As well as teaching you the AQA specification (which is just half of what you need to know for your exams) i can also teach you exact mark scheme answers for every question that may come up. At the beginning I realized that once I had learned the specification then tried a past paper that many marks come from being familiar with the exam paper rather than what you know in chemistry. I fully understand everything in the specification as well understand how exams work.

I provide tutoring in French and History. I am fluent in French, having lived, studied and worked in France for four years. I encourage students to enjoy the process of learning languages by encouraging engagement not just in the language itself, but in the culture and history of France. I understand the challenges that come with preparing for GCSE and A-Level humanities and language exams and tailor my tutoring services to tackle each student's individual needs. I monitor my student's progress by providing short tests every half-term, to identify any other areas of need. I am experienced with working with students with dyslexia, ADHD, dyspraxia and autism. I specialise in French and History but also provide services in drama, history, English Literature and Language up to A-Level, and all humanities subjects up to GCSE. I am versed in the curriculum and provide exam preparation services. I have a first class honours in French Studies and History, from the University of London Institute in Paris.

I'm Martin from First Class Learning 11 Plus Dartford.
I am a qualified school experienced teacher. I have been doing 11 plus tutoring in Dartford and Bexleyheath areas for many years. I do a personalised approach with each kid. I conduct a free assessment first, based on the results, I prioritise topics and start teaching from the basics. The main focus will be to build the basics with thorough teaching. My batch strength can be 3 learners and above. If I see that the learner has a lot to catch up, they will be working in a small group. But, if the learner is able and competitive, I would assign him/her to a slightly larger group to give a sense of competition as we conduct 'question and answer sessions' and class tests regularly. I conduct mock exams towards the end of each year to make sure my learners are ready with the exam pattern. I conduct one to one (1 to 1) sessions when I see someone struggling in a topic.
As mentioned above I am a qualified teacher and worked as a fulltime teacher. I have a thorough knowledge of the school curriculum.
Finally, I have an exceptional 11 plus pass rate. Many of my students are pursuing their secondary education in nearby grammar schools.
Call me and have a discussion.
