Biology Tutors in Essex and Biology Tutoring in Essex
Hi my name is Fran ! I am a Biomedical science graduate from the University of Kent, now studying Graduate Entry Medicine. I have a huge passion for science and biology, which is the main reason I have committed myself to 7 years in post education. My learning style is always developing, and as for one I understand and can relate to the difficulties of having to pass exams having not always been a top A* student myself, but using perseverance to help with getting my achievements. My priority as a tutor is to try and help my students learn and understand topics, I think it is key to try and tackle this first. Then using repetition, past exam paper questions and engagement to try and build on this. I am keen to share my study techniques and learning styles with other students to help them become successful. I am very adaptive and will use your own specification to teach making sure the lessons cover each of the objectives found in the specification, at the end covering relevant past exam questions. As exams come closer I can tackle more specific issues that the student may be having and critique past papers with helping to improve. I am an approachable, friendly individual who always creates a comfortable environment to learn in. Online tuition only.

Teaching provides a unique opportunity to shape lives and influence young people towards a responsible future, hence, my passion for teaching. As one with a passion for Mathematics and Science, I understand that many students face real challenges grasping the concepts of the subjects. Hence, teaching provides me the avenue to tackle this, while also making a contribution ; giving back to the society and also challenging myself towards further growth and development. I have taught since my secondary school days; taking more than 500 students in total; at various levels (on a one-on-one basis, in groups and at mass teaching levels). I have also taught at various educational levels (secondary and tertiary) as well as to a diverse range of student ethnic backgrounds with a very high success rate in student comprehension evinced by their later performance. Having gained significant confidence in teaching this subject, I have a very broad understanding of what is expected at GCSE and A-level. My teaching success rate has been largely due to my deep and vast understanding of the subject matter, coupled with my calm, interesting and engaging manner of communication that makes even an average and uninterested student develop a desire for Maths and Science. I use diverse teaching-aids, web-resources, etc. as necessary

I am a recent Chemistry graduate from Imperial College London. After overcoming adversity and focusing on exam technique, I achieved 3 A*'s during my A levels. I would like to share my passion for the subject, knowledge and exam-based focus to help students realise their potential. I have delivered over 200 A level / GCSE lessons across the past two years, averaging a 5* review. After an initial session to scope out areas for improvement and initial performance, I will focus on delivering content and explaining these areas. We will cover different style exam questions per point on the syllabus. Each session will consist of a refresher of the previous session, a topic to be discussed followed by exam questions. I will set homework for both general recall and exam questions. I will provide resources and closer to your exams I will map key points and model answers to each specification point. I found this vital in achieving high grades.

Hi! My name is Laura and I'm a first class Chemistry with Biomedicine graduate from King''s College London. My degree covered a wide range of different subjects that span both GCSE and A level topics in both Chemistry and Biology. Tutoring Experience I am passionate in teaching students having been one recently myself- I have been tutoring since I was 16 to younger students and since then, I have tutored over 100+ students with almost a 100% pass rate. I have a good knowledge of both the GCSE and A level curriculum as I did OCR Chemistry and Biology for my A levels as well as AQA Chemistry and Biology for GCSE. Tutoring Approach My teaching style is firstly ensuring that you understand the principles first and have a good grasp of foundation knowledge and working from there. I set regular quizzes and I believe on hands on learning where the student can ask me any open questions.
I am committed to helping the students reach their maximum potential. I am recent graduate with great deal of experience and am up-to-date with the current national curriculum taught at schools. I have been teaching privately in London and Essex over the past seven years. I have worked at a successful school and tuition centre as a Maths teacher. As well as specialising in teaching children up to A-level in a wide range of subjects, I also specialise in giving students advice about exam preparation, subject choices and University applications.

I have taught at an outstanding school for the past 6 years. In this time I have taught hundreds of students, this experience has really made me understand how students learn best. Every student is different and it is this difference in needs where tutors can really make a change to a students learning. Having tutored for the past 5 years, running both 1-2-1 sessions and small group sessions, all students from KS2 to KS4 have been able to achieve the grades they wanted. Subjects that I have tutored are KS2 English and Maths as well as the 11+. At GCSE I have tutored Maths and Science. I am able to tutor online or in person for 1-2-1 or small group sessions, I charge £30 an hour. Outstanding teacher for 6 years. Tutored 1-2-1 and group sessions for 5 years. Tutored KS2 Maths, English and 11+ Tutored KS4 Maths and Science DBS certificate Every student is different. The way to get a student to reply succeed is to get them to enjoy the subject. Enjoying the subject comes down to finding wins for the student, and building on knowledge that they know already.
