Maths Tutors in Dorset and Maths Tutoring in Dorset
Hello! My name is Will and I have recently completed my NQT year teaching mathematics in Weymouth to students aged 11-16, including GCSEs. This experience has taught me a lot about the unique learning styles of children and how I can adapt my teaching in a way to benefit them. I am able to provide support and reinforce learning that has been done in the classroom in accordance to the National Curriculum to ensure a stronger level of understanding when you leave compared to when you arrive.

Hello, I'm Harry and I'm currently studying maths and computer science at A-Level and am thoroughly enjoying it. I would love to have the opportunity to tutor those who are currently studying at the GCSE level and below. In my GCSEs I achieved the grade of an 8 (equivalent to A/A*) in both maths and computer science so I understand what it takes to achieve the higher levels that students strive for. I have personal experience with tutoring also, as I have been tutored in the past so I understand the needs of the tutee and the best methods to help every student learn to their maximum potential. Any inquires, don't hesitate to get in touch.

I recently achieved first-class honours in Criminology from the University of Southampton. Currently, I'm undertaking an MA in Political Psychology at Bournemouth University. My specific area of interest is how criminal activity and the varying dimensions within politics intersect. In my spare time, I like to read and craft. I'm also apart of a local field hockey team, which is great for maintaining my fitness and provides a great opportunity for socialisation. I believe learning is done best through discussion. This method promotes problem-solving and in the process facilitates student confidence. Confidence is equally as important as subject knowledge when undertaking exams. This method of teaching is highly adaptable to students needs.

Hello, my name's Sam, and I hold a 1st Class Bachelor's degree and Master's in Physics from the University of Warwick. I have loved Physics and Maths since secondary school (where I obsessively watched Brian Cox!) and have become incredibly passionate in using it to explore and experience the universe around us. More importantly, however, I am devoted to sharing this passion and wonder with my students and helping them reach their full potential, whether it's for GCSE or A-Level. I have over 150 hours of experience in tutoring and am building on this each day. I endeavor to be a very versatile tutor so that my methods match each unique student.
