I recently achieved first-class honours in Criminology from the University of Southampton. Currently, I'm undertaking an MA in Political Psychology at Bournemouth University. My specific area of interest is how criminal activity and the varying dimensions within politics intersect. In my spare time, I like to read and craft. I'm also apart of a local field hockey team, which is great for maintaining my fitness and provides a great opportunity for socialisation. I believe learning is done best through discussion. This method promotes problem-solving and in the process facilitates student confidence. Confidence is equally as important as subject knowledge when undertaking exams. This method of teaching is highly adaptable to students needs.

I am an experienced Head of KS5 Biology at a grammar school in Dorset. I have 7 years experience teaching Biology and Science in general, and two more tutoring prior to becoming a teacher. I believe in helping students through questioning. There will be very little of you listening to me lecturing. Instead we will talk through a subject one stage at a time, drawing out the knowledge that you already have and building on it to ensure your confidence.
