Hi, my name is Hanaan. I understand how difficult it must be to have children at the education age during the COVID-19 pandemic, and how many parents will prefer their children to be tutored 1:1 and online for the next few months to ensure their children do not fall behind! Please drop me a message if you know anyone or are in need of that last little push to get amazing grades in Chemistry or Maths GCSE's and A-levels! Tutoring has personally helped me so much at A-level and University level, I understand how invaluable the process can be! It definitely was responsible for my higher grades and I hope I can do the same for someone else. I have just finished my degree at The University of Manchester studying BSc Pure Chemistry . I would love the opportunity to tutor GCSE and Alevel Chemistry and Maths. At GCSE I got A*s in both subjects and at A Level I got A's (the highest grade). I am enthusiastic about the new syllabus and would love to teach. I studied my GCSE`s and A Levels at Manchester High School for Girls as a hardworking and motivated student. I like helping people and I believe that tutoring will provide an opportunity to further develop both mine and my students educational, social and organisational skills. I have personally tutored 3 students, one doing 11+level for 6 months, one preparing for GCSE mathematics for a year and one girl I tutored biology, chemistry and maths with me at GCSE level and after a year she came back to use me as her A-Level tutor after achievement of good GCSE results. I have been responsible for a crèche on an annual basis for children aged 4-10 for a month each summer. Babysitting annually at my local community centre helped me gain experience in organisation and management of the children and relevant instruction and education for them during their time with me.

I am capable of teaching in a range of styles, however I prefer (and recommend) teaching a more in depth understanding of the material taught on the course. I have always had an interest for the more abstract areas of mathematics and physics, and find the focus in schools all too often fails to capture the significance and intuitiveness of the materials taught. Though it saves time in school not to explore the materials this way, this understanding is key in students who gain the highest grades - think how more effortless it is looking down at the landscape from above, than finding your way through the ideas at ground level. It's a little extra work, but having a perspective of course topics in a more advanced context lessens reliance on memorisation. In reality, practice and hard work from the tutee is always necessary - working through problems is indispensable with or without supervision. To this end, most of my tutor sessions structure around worked examples, but rapidly segue into deeper concepts as they arise; having the tutees explain their understanding of specific problems is an efficient way to pinpoint areas that need deep, encouraged thought on the part of the student.

Hello! My name is Charlotte and I an English Literature graduate. I not only studied English but I have also worked in Africa on multiple occasions teaching English language and literature in high schools. I have just returned from a year studying in Italy where I privately tutored in English language for Italian children. My passion for English began as a young and avid reader and blossomed throughout high school where I was inspired by a wonderful English teacher who told me to follow my dreams and push myself to the limits. It is this message which I would like to pass on, and by building a love for the subject, the improvement will come naturally. Students' improvement will therefore come through passion and clarity in sessions.

My name is Teacher IK or you can call me James, i tutor in science related subjects, my desire for my students is to learn, grow and succeed abundantly in life. i like to be practical and proactive during my teaching in class because that's the only way every student can learn faster and be active, in my class every student is free to ask questions anytime, classwork is very important for any topic being taken in my class, and most of all every student must participate during questions and answers period in class. My guides in class are; punctuality, every student must endeavor not to be late to class, student must do their class work and assignments, students must ask question or questions will be asked. Lastly parents should also help follow up with their children's education like checking assignments and class works, making sure their children are active with their studies when they are not in class. Thanks for your time and i hope to see you soon in my class my wonderful students.

I am an Undergraduate studying Chemistry at degree level. I have previously tutored GCSE in Mathematics and Chemistry and have achieved amazing results. I am an organised individual who will work to teach in different manners depending upon the students understanding of the subject. I like challenges and I am punctual. I will use different techniques to teach students and will set them tasks and homework weekly which will be dependent upon the lesson that week. I am friendly and sociable. I may be young but I feel that students will feel comfortable and will approach me when in need.
I'm a third year Cambridge Natural Sciences student, with experience tutoring GCSE level Maths students with educational charity Schools Connect. I achieved A*s in Maths and Further Maths A-levels, and a first class mark in my first year Maths Exam. I really enjoy teaching (and learning) and hope to pass on this passion to my students! In terms of experience, I spent two years tutoring with educational charity Schools Connect in Cambridge. This involved one-on-one teaching, across all parts of the GCSE syllabus and with all different ability levels. This allowed me to improve my skills my teaching a wide variety of students. Over the course of tutoring a student I would aim to: a) identify weak areas and work on them to improve understanding and ability with these topics b) improve student's ability to solve problems more generally c) improve a student's confidence, especially to try and fail, as this is where learning happens d) improve the student's ability and desire to learn independently (and therefore revise for exams effectively) Overall, to improve the students ability at and enjoyment of Maths/Chemistry.
