With a PhD in English Literature and eight years experience of teaching and private tutoring, I provide a warm, friendly individualised service. Building a professional rapport is an important part of ensuring that my students get the best out of our sessions. I achieved First Class Honours as an English Literature undergraduate. Prior to my academic studies I qualified as a general nurse, and changed to mental health nursing in 2003. I managed one of the UK's first mental health crisis houses from the beginning of the project (Jan - Dec 2010). However, my heart is always foremost in teaching.
